Marin is a freelance graphic designer based in Portland, Oregon, and currently works as a Courtroom Clerk at the Circuit Court level in Washington County. With plans to pursue a Juris Doctor, Marin sees her path as a continuation of creative thinking—where the ability to approach problems with nuance, clarity, and empathy extends naturally from design into the practice of law.
As a second-generation Iranian American, Marin’s creative foundation was shaped by her paternal grandfather, an architect who designed art-deco homes throughout the Portland area, and her aunt, a lifelong artist.
She began her education at Parsons School of Design in New York, where she discovered her love for Graphic Design and shifted her focus from Fashion to Communication Design. She later followed this passion to Los Angeles, transferring to the University of Southern California, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Design.
Focusing on tone, aesthetic, and communication design, Marin’s work is rooted in a thoughtful exploration of brand identity for clients across the retail, beauty, and music industries.
